Composer. Performer. Producer. Composer. Performer. Producer.
Welcome to BuckyTunes!
BuckyTunes is the brainchild of Jason Buchwald- composer, performer, and producer. Starting with piano lessons at age 7 in Brooklyn, Jason has spent multiple decades in the music industry. His credits include a diverse range of performances, writing credits, and collaborations, including the Goo Goo Dolls’ Robby Takac, legendary rock producer Ron Nevison (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Heart, Jefferson Starship, Europe, Kiss, Damn Yankees, and more), and Grammy award winning engineer Earl Cohen (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Will Smith, Tina Turner). Jason has also performed in various bands, including performances opening for Foghat and the Vinyl All Stars (a band that includes members of Steely Dan, Bon Jovi, Boston, AC/DC, Fosterchild, The Wailers, and James Brown). Jason’s vocal and a cappella arranging expertise even led to a performance at Carnegie Hall!
BuckyTunes is also home of The Operating Room, a professional recording studio based in Arizona. Besides composing and recording his own material, Jason enjoys collaborating with artists from all over the US- and beyond! This has included both known and unknown artists in various genres, and even led to Jason’s appearance on a Grammy ballot.
Whether you are interested in booking Jason for a gig, looking for a composer or collaborator, keyboard tracks for your tunes, or would like to license his music, let him know here! Thanks for dropping by and we look forward to hearing from you.
